Upcoming : P.E.A.R.L. Project 2009-2010
P.E.A.R.L. (Performing to Empower Awareness and Reinvent Lives) Project is a multi-disciplinary community-based arts project for current and former female inmates of Topeka Correctional Facility. In 2008, a successful pilot project created by artists So Yeon Park and Carol Bradbury to build a long-term, sustainable arts program in Kansas at TCF and within the DOC Re-entry Program. This three-year project will facilitate public understanding of and compassion for the multi-dimensionality and the complexity of the challenges faced by the female inmates and their children.
